In September 2022, I founded HEM & HER after graduating as a leather designer. Although it may seem like a deviation from my studies, my education led me to uncover some of the apparel industry's root problems and the impact it has on people, the environment, and animals. Despite the difficulty in finding clear information, I continued educating myself. However, as I learned more, I found it increasingly difficult to find clothing that aligned with my values. Unable to ignore my sense of responsibility and purpose, I knew I had to act.

I firmly believe that clothing is one of the most personal forms of self-expression. As someone who has always found joy in the ritual of dressing up, I understand the need for unpretentious, timeless, and effortless pieces that cater to and embrace ever-changing bodies.
